The 4-Cut Scraper is our latest addition to the Speedheater™ innovative “spring steel”, pull scrapers. Unlike many metal scrapers with thinner, lighter blades, this steel is harder, thicker, and resists chipping and bending. Our blades have beveled edges which allow them to thoroughly strip away soft paint in a few strokes.
This scraper has 4 sharp cutting edges in one blade. The easy-grip knob lets you apply more scraping pressure on resistant paint. The beveled edges prevent damaging the surface while scraping.
How to Attach Scraper Blades to Handle
The Speedheater™ scraper blades must be attached firmly to their long, ergonomic handles to work efficiently. If the blade wobbles or moves in any way, the scraping will not be even and will gouge the wood. To attach the blade, place it on the end of the handle. Push it down as far as it will go without stripping the threads. Use a wrench to tighten the blade until it is completely horizontal to the handle rod and does not move in any direction.
