The Speedheater™ scrapers are engineered with precision, capable of removing all layers of softened paint down to bare wood. The handles are long and ergonomically designed, allowing for deeper and more even pull strokes when both hands are used. The blades are made from thick, Swedish spring steel with beveled edges. Unlike thinner, softer blades, these spring steel blades resist nicking or cracking when they encounter a nail. Their sharp, beveled edges mean fewer strokes are needed to quickly remove old paint. All Speedheater™ Scraper blades can be removed and sharpened, extending their lifespan and ensuring consistent performance.

  • The Clapboard Scraper features five straight edges, making it perfect for flat surfaces.
  • The Profile Scraper comes with six different concave and convex curves wider than 1”, ideal for paneled doors, trim, window sills.

Speedheater™ scrapers are designed to pull off all the layers of softened paint down to bare wood. The handles are long and ergonomic. Both hands on the handle give deeper and more even pull strokes. The blades are made of thick, Swedish spring steel and have beveled edges. Unlike thinner, softer blades, spring steel blades don’t nick or crack when they hit a nail. Their sharp, beveled edges mean fewer strokes to get all the old paint off quickly. The blades of all Speedheater™ Scrapers can be removed and sharpened.

Putty Knife: Our putty knife tools are specially made with ergonomic handles and durable laser-cut Swedish steel blades, ensuring a firm and comfortable grip while you work that will last you through the many projects to come. The handy scraper is ideal for removing residual window glazing from the sash and window glass. It also works well for applying window glazing.

Chisel with a Roller: Keeping the position of a chisel stable while removing window putty is difficult. Gouging fragile wood and chipping glass are common. Our Speedheater™ Chisel with Roller fixes these problems. The position of the special roller in our chisel controls the depth of the blade. The roller moves the chisel forward smoothly along the thin wood muntin. Speedheater™-softened putty cuts away like butter with our Chisel with Roller.

8-Cut Scraper: This scraper has eight sharp cutting edges in one blade. The blade can be flipped over and rotated to use all the edges before resharpening is needed. The easy-grip knob lets you apply more scraping pressure on resistant paint. The beveled edges prevent damaging the surface while scraping.

Grinding Kit: Our Swedish manufacturer, Speedheater™Systems, solved the problem with their new Grinding Kit. The Grinding Kit has two ceramic grinding cloths and a blade holder. Both the grinding cloths and the holder are durable and reusable. Scraper users especially like the portability of the Grinding Kit and the security of knowing they aren’t damaging the blade’s beveled edge.
