This tool is a complementary tool to the restoration project you have in the works. It uses a stainless steel sawtooth blade to quickly zip open window sashes and old window stops painted or caulked shut without damaging the window frames.
Directions: Lightly press the blade into the space where paint has sealed the window frame to the sash. Pull the tool with a gentle rocking motion. Repeat the operation, inserting the blade deeper into the crevice. After freeing the window, use fine sandpaper to clean adjoining surfaces.
